PPA, AED.US, and Philips Partner to Make Pickleball Safer—One Court at a Time

Safety should always be a top priority in pickleball’s fast-paced, high-energy world. Sudden cardiac arrest remains a public health crisis, with over 1,000 SCA events happening each day in the U.S. For every minute that a victim goes without defibrillation, the chance for survival decreases by 10%.
Having an easily accessible AED can be the difference between life and death and that’s why AED.US is on a mission: to make AED access as common as pickleball paddles. Through the partnership with the PPA, they are working to educate and equip the pickleball community with the tools and training needed to respond to SCA.
In addition to becoming the official AED provider of the PPA Tour, AED.US and Philips will collaborate on a collection of activations and offers to elevate this important partnership.

At all future PPA Tournaments in 2025, a Philips HeartStart OnSite AED will be available courtside in case of an emergency, helping protect players, coaches, and spectators alike from SCA.
