Help Desk Specialist

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
  • Write training manuals.
  • Train computer users.
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
  • Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
  • Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem.
  • Walk customers through the problem-solving process.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Clean up computers.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.
  • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
  • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.

HR Generalist

KEY REPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate to new hires and managers effectively regarding status in the onboarding process.
    • Ensuring all new hire processes, including onboarding and orientation are completed for new employees.
  • Ensure I-9 Compliance by verifying appropriate documentation for all new hires.
  • Respond to daily routine HR inquiries
  • Responds to employment & wage verifications
  • Serve as HR contact for payroll processing for bi-weekly payrolls.
  • Ensure all time tracking has been reported and approved correctly for all non-exempt staff.
  • Administer/support HR department projects and programs as directed and maintain documentation of events.
    • Assist with recruiting efforts and represent the company at job fairs as needed
    • Assist with annual benefits and open enrollment
    • Assist with employee appreciation programs and diversity initiatives
  • Ensure all files are maintained and in compliance with applicable procedures, policies, or audit requirements.
  • Perform administrative duties including but not limited to mail, faxes, filing, preparing meeting materials, expense reports, processing invoices, scheduling meetings, and conference rooms, etc.
    • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all HR-related matters and information.
    • Perform other HR or administrative duties as needed or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College or equivalent degree in Human Resources strongly preferred
  • 2-4 years of HR experience is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of basic human resource practices, including human resource compliance
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Strong initiative and ability to prioritize workload
  • Self-motivated and able to work under limited supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude

  • Run social campaigns around tournaments, experiences, and announcements at the PPA Tour
  • Execute email newsletters from content within the company
  • Create content from the tour (blogs, write-ups, descriptions, SEO)
  • Understand marketing metrics
  • Help maintain the PPA Tour website

Ticketing Associate (2)

Work with the onsite revenue officer to develop ticketing plans/packages/experiences for fans attending events. Oversee a budget, marketing tasks, and reports.

Will travel to ~12 events a year to help implement ticket experience.
