MIXED DOUBLES FINAL: (1) Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns def. Etta Tuionetoa and Christian Alshon, 11-3, 11-2, 11-7.

  • Alshon is 0-8 in Finals against Waters and Johns. 
  • Waters and Johns hit fewer volleys into the net, 13-7.
  • Waters had no errors on serves, returns, and thirds.
  • Longest rally: 37 shots.

MEN’S DOUBLES FINAL: (5) JW Johnson and CJ Klinger def. (2) Ben Johns and Gabe Tardio, 11-9, 11-9, 11-7.

  • Johnson has eleven career Doubles titles. After the Johns brothers, only Matt Wright (18) and Riley Newman (14) have more.
  • Johnson and Klinger had fewer dinks into the net or wide, 9-2.
  • Klinger’s clean play: He had no dinks into the net or wide, and no errors on serves, returns and thirds.
  • Longest rally: 58 shots.

WOMEN’S DOUBLES FINAL: (2) Anna Bright and Anna Leigh Waters def. (1) Catherine Parenteau and Rachel Rohrabacher, 11-4, 11-7, 11-3.

  • These four players now have 111 Doubles gold medals between them.
  • Bright and Waters: More clean winners, 14-7.
  • Bright and Waters: No dinks into the net or wide. 
  • Bright: match-high nine Clean Winners (five in Game One)
  • Waters: No errors on serves, returns and thirds.
  • Longest rally: 51 shots.

MEN’S SINGLES FINAL: (4) Ben Johns def. (3) Connor Garnett, 3-11, 11-9, 11-9.

  • Ben Johns has now beaten 16 different players in Singles finals.
  • The last 19 Singles champs have all been listed at six-feet or taller, except for Federico Staksrud.
  • Clean Winners: Garnett 24, Johns 23.
