MIXED DOUBLES FINAL: (1) Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns def. (2) Jorja Johnson and JW Johnson, 5-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-1.

  • Waters and Johns have 41 titles together. (Waters, 43 overall; Johns, 56 overall)
  • Waters/Johns have 13 titles this year.
  • Johnson/Johnson have lost seven straight title matches to Waters/Johns.
  • Waters/Johns: trailed 4-0-2 in Game Four, then finished on a run of 22-2.
  • Johns: Match-high 11 clean winners, (8 in Game Two).

WOMEN’S DOUBLES FINAL: (1) Catherine Parenteau and Anna Leigh Waters def. (2) Anna Bright and Rachel Rohrabacher, 10-12, 11-9, 6-11, 11-6, 12-10. 

  • These two teams have won the last eleven tournaments, and 25 of the last 26. (Jansen/Pisnik, Red Rock, April)
  • Parenteau and Waters have lost only 13 games in finals matches together, but Bright and Rohrabacher are responsible for eight of those 13.

WOMEN’S SINGLES FINAL: (9) Kate Fahey def. (4) Brooke Buckner, 5-11, 11-9, 11-8.

  • Fahey’s second career PPA title (also won at Utah this year).
  • Fahey’s fifth medal in the last seven tournaments.
  • Fahey trailed 9-5 in Game Two, scored six unanswered to win 11-9.
  • Game Three was tied 8-8.
  • Fahey: fewer baseline drive errors, 28-14.
  • Buckner: more clean winners, 19-4.
  • Longest rally: 16 shots (four times)
