DALLAS – Humana and the Carvana Professional Pickleball Association (PPA Tour) are excited to announce the “Humana Champions Showcase,” a dedicated amateur series highlighting senior amateur competition at four key stops on the PPA Tour. Humana and the PPA Tour previously unveiled a broad partnership “in recognition of pickleball’s rapidly growing popularity thanks to America’s seniors.” 

“As a champion of seniors for decades, Humana strives to create experiences that promote healthy lifestyles and foster social connections to improve people’s lives. We celebrate the power of pickleball to do just that and this Showcase gives us a chance to support the athletes leading the charge,” said Jennifer Bazante, Chief Marketing Officer at Humana.

The “Humana Champions Showcase” will highlight the incredible athletes of each 50+ age bracket at the four dedicated PPA Tour stops. Champions of each bracket will win the Humana Champions Showcase trophy as well as a gift card to Pickleball Central, courtesy of the PPA Tour. 

Additionally, clinics will be available to select participants and taught by Dave Fleming, a top Senior Pro and the “Voice of the PPA Tour” at select tournament locations. Fleming will also host a content series that shares tips on living a healthy life, improving your pickleball game and choosing the right gear.
