Tama Shimabukuro

Tama Shimabukuro is a professional pickleball player competing on the PPA Tour in men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles. He has established himself as a notable competitor in the rapidly growing sport of professional pickleball.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii Tama Shimabukuro started playing pickleball 2 years ago. Shimabukuro’s has a previous background in skateboarding and Surfing. Shimabukuro loves pickleball because it’s fun! Shimabukuro’s biggest accomplishment so far: Upset Tyler loong in singles and mixed at PPA Fukuoka, making round of 32 on center court at Vegas PPA, getting a game off Matt Wright. He is very grateful and excited to be apart of the PPA and MLP Tama Shimabukuro brings a competitive edge to every match on the PPA Tour. He continues to develop his game and compete at the highest level of professional pickleball.
