Andrei Daescu

Andrei Daescu is a professional pickleball player competing on the PPA Tour in men's doubles, and mixed doubles. He has established himself as a notable competitor in the rapidly growing sport of professional pickleball.

Originally from Bucharest Romania and currently living in Palm Beach Gardens FL, Daescu played college tennis on a scholarship at the University of Oklahoma and graduated in 2010. Daescu was an All-American his senior year. He played pro tennis for 5 years after that, got up to 120 in the world in doubles, represented his native country Romania in the Davis Cup and played in the 2015 US Open for tennis. Daescu discovered pickleball in 2017 at the Ballen Isles Country Club in Florida and has been playing tournaments ever since.
