The biggest movers were in mixed doubles, where two partnership changes announced in March are now paying off. New pairings need roughly six events to hit peak efficiency, according to the tour's historical data — both new teams are ahead of that curve.
On the bubble: the Finals cutoff at No. 8 is the tightest in tour history. Positions six through ten are separated by fewer points than a single semifinal appearance pays. That's what Atlanta's 1,000-point draw and Nationals' 2,000-point draw are really deciding.
