Meet Christian Alshon

Growing up in Boca Raton, Florida Christian Alshon began playing pickleball consistently during June of 2021, two weeks after he won the D3 NCAA championships where he went undefeated at position one in singles. He ended the season at a singles record of 18-0. Alshon says “ my tennis background highly contributes to my success in pickleball. Specifically, my doubles skills in tennis transfer over very well regarding eye-hand coordination”.

In the pickleball world, Alshon is known for his tweeners and trick shots that have been used to his advantage in both his singles and doubles game. During his games, you will frequently see Leigh Waters accompanying Alshon on the sidelines, helping coach his way through the game. The Waters are from the same area of Florida and have been a huge influence in his pickleball career, bringing him into this new world of sports. Alshon is now sponsored by Diadem and Day One. In Alshon’s pickleball career, he has beaten many top ten pro players. He placed 4th in his first PPA tournament and made it to the semis in another. Alshon consistently wins main draw matches.
