Meet the Franklin Celebrity Pickleball Pro-Am

The PPA is excited to partner with Randall Emmett and Lala Kent for the PPA Masters in La Quinta, California. Randall Emmett and Lala Kent are going to bring us the very first Franklin Celebrity Pickleball Pro-Am at the PPA Masters on November 13th from 6-8 pm.

The Franklin Celebrity Pickleball Pro-Am will feature a mix of professional and celebrity players competing in an intimate tournament featuring pool play and bracket finales. There will be 16 teams consisting of one professional player and one celebrity per team. Here is how the tournament will play out:

• Teams are randomly split into 4 pools consisting of 4 teams each.
• Each team plays each team in their pool one time.
• Teams are split into two brackets based on pool results (winner bracket and consolation bracket).
• Single elimination brackets until we have a winner bracket and consolation bracket champions.
• All matches will be 1 to 11, win by 1.

Come and watch celebrities and top players in the sport compete in a fun tournament at the PPA Masters in La Quinta, California. Each celebrity competition will be released each day at 5 pm eastern for the next 16 days. Come back daily to check who will be playing. Celebrities include:

• October 14: Natalie Eva Marie, WWE Superstar
• October 15: TBA

Admission by ticket will be strongly enforced and limited. Ticket options available:

• General Admission ($20): come and watch up the matches on center court and grand stand courts.
• VIP Admission ($200): come watch and stay after the tournament for hors d’oeuvres with the celebrities and pro players.
