Four-Event Series on Major Network with “Grow the Game Grant” Announced

Author: Wesley Ahlfeld | July 11, 2023

Are you ready for the most thrilling and competitive event in the world of Pickleball? The PPA Tour World Championship Series is just around the corner, and it’s set to take the pickleball world by storm.

The Series will debut on a brand-new major broadcasting network, with partnership details set to release on Tuesday, May 16, just two days before all the action kicks off.

The World Championship Series rebrands the PPA Tour’s four existing events in Atlanta, Kansas City, Las Vegas, and Boca Raton this year, where players play through each tournament normally, while also earning separate Series points for their performances in doubles and singles matches. These points will accumulate over the four events with the top finishers going on to compete in a standalone one-day event, the World Championship Series Finals, where finalists from all five divisions will battle it out to determine who the World Champions will be.

But that’s not all. The five winning teams/players will each have the chance to award a “Grow the Game Grant” to an underserved community of their choice, with the amount split equally between the victors. This grant includes pickleball equipment and paddles provided by the PPA Tour and select sponsors, totaling $100,000 in valuation.

This tournament is not just about the top players battling it out for the title; it’s about growing the sport and giving back to the community. And you can be a part of it too!

For those who can’t make it out to any of the live events, you can still watch the tournament online and experience the excitement from the comfort of your own home. Be sure to check out PPA Tour platforms on Tuesday next week to find out WHO is carrying the exclusive coverage…On screen, you’ll be able to witness the top pickleball players in the world compete in high-stakes matches, and you’ll feel like you’re right there with them.

For those who want to witness the action live, the PPA Tour World Championship Series shouldn’t be missed. The tournaments take place in some of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the United States. Visit the PPA Tour tournament schedule to check out event offerings, register to play in a tournament, and buy tickets to watch the pros in person.

Whether you’re a pickleball enthusiast or a casual fan, make sure you don’t miss out on the PPA Tour World Championship Series. The Series is set to be a game-changer!
