Meet Travis Rettenmaier

Travis Rettenmaier started playing pickleball by luck and chance. A friend of his took Rettenmaier to crescent lake park where he met wonderful people from all ages and walks of life. Rettenmaier knew he wanted to hang out there and play as much as possible. Rettenmaier says the best attributes for pickleball is having fast hands, a good backhand flick and a decent sense of anticipation. As a relative newcomer to the game Rettenmaier admits he has a ton to work on. 

Rettenmaier is sponsored by Selkirk and Sunday Swagger. He is the part owner and player of the MLP team Florida Smash alongside Jessie Irvine, Jorja Johnson, and Collin Johns and uses a lot of his time to share his love of the sport with others. Along with speaking about all the benefits it has physically, socially and mentally.
