Jillian Braverman is a tech entrepreneur and professional pickleball player who recently retired as CEO of DUPR to make a return back to professional pickleball full-time. She is known for her feisty on-court energy and equivalent prowess in both singles and doubles. Braverman loves to create fun, educational pickleball content almost as much as she loves to hit two-handed backhands.
Raised in Newport Beach, CA, Braverman and her sister, also a former scholarship tennis player at Pepperdine University, were looking for a fun, competitive outlet that wasn’t tennis–and discovered pickleball nets at their local club. It was love at first sight and they proceeded to play tennis on a pickleball court–staying back and hitting as hard as they could with zero regard for how to keep score or what side to officially stand on. (They were, needless to say, having a fantastic time).
Braverman is currently sponsored by Storm Reign Energy Drink. Braverman has been ranked as high as #3 in the world in singles and #16 in doubles. She was a medalist in singles at Nationals 2021 and the #1 Draft pick in the 2022 MLP Shuffle draft. She finished second place overall in her first appearance at MLP Daytona (Challenger League, Dallas Pickleball Club).
