PPA Player Rankings

Understand how PPA Points work.

PPA Tour Points accumulate each year during all of our tournaments based on the results of each tournament on the Grand Slam Tour.

The top 80% of a player’s tournaments in the last 52-week period will count toward their ranking.

Professional Divisions

Point Distribution: PPA Tour Points awarded for the following events: Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles.

Grand Slam

  • 1st: 1,500 Points
  • 2nd: 1,200 Points
  • 3rd: 900 Points
  • 4th: 600 Points
  • *90 Points awarded for each main draw win (non-top five finishers)
  • *45 Points for each back draw win (non-top five finishers)
  • *15 Points awarded for registered players who do not win a match

1000s

  • 1st: 1,000 Points
  • 2nd: 800 Points
  • 3rd: 600 Points
  • 4th: 400 Points
  • *60 Points awarded for each main draw win (non-top five finisher)
  • *30 Points for each back draw win (non-top five finisher)
  • *10 Points awarded for registered players who do not win a match

500s

  • 1st: 500 Points
  • 2nd: 400 Points
  • 3rd: 300 Points
  • 4th: 200 Points
  • *30 Points awarded for each main draw win (non-top five finisher)
  • *15 Points for each back draw win (non-top five finisher)
  • *7 Points awarded for registered players who do not win a match

250s

  • 1st: 250 Points
  • 2nd: 200 Points
  • 3rd: 150 Points
  • 4th: 100 Points
  • *15 Points awarded for each main draw win (non-top five finisher)
  • *7 Points for each back draw win (non-top five finisher)
  • *3 Points awarded for registered players who do not win a match
