Matt Cudzinowski

A native of Montreal, Quebec, Matt joined Pickleball.com in October 2023 after spending 11 seasons as the beat writer for the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens. He discovered pickleball on YouTube during the COVID-19 pandemic and quickly became hooked on learning as much as possible about America’s fastest-growing sport.

Matt has previously held positions in media and public relations with the PPA Tour and Golf Canada, and a broadcasting and production role with TSN 690, Montreal’s all-sports radio station. He earned a journalism degree from Concordia University in Montreal and a sports science degree from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. Matt resides in Dallas with his wife, Rachel, and when he isn’t reading or writing about pickleball, he enjoys everything that the Lone Star State has to offer, especially the outstanding cuisine and a good rodeo.
