Andrew Gilman

Andrew Gilman lives with his wife and son in Oklahoma City. He grew up in Norman, Okla., and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in journalism. He has spent more than 25 years as sportswriter, working in newspapers, magazines and for a number of internet sites, covering such events as the BCS championship, the NBA Finals, the NCAA basketball tournament and much more.

Gilman has worked for the PPA since 2021, covering some of the PPA’s biggest names and tournaments for PPATour.com. He is also an avid pickleball player, an IPTPA Level II instructor and has worked as the director of pickleball for two country clubs in Oklahoma City. Gilman has played pickleball since 2016 and competed at tournaments in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado and California. In addition to pickleball, he loves to play golf and travel.
